Warwick ward has some of Pimlico’s most familiar places – Victoria mainline, underground and bus stations, Victoria Library on Buckingham Palace Road and the Pimlico shopping district on Wilton Road and Warwick Way. Ecclestone Square, Warwick Square and the area around Holy Apostles Church are the main residential parts of Warwick ward, as is the Abbotts Manor estate.
Warwick ward is an area known for its hotels, but other local landmarks in Warwick ward are the Apollo Victoria Theatre, Queen Mother Sports Centre and Victoria Place shopping arcade. We probably know it best for the huge black bins the council puts on the street corners!
On May 6th 2010 Paul Evans, Adam Gillett and Rhoda Torres will be your Liberal Democrat candidates for Warwick ward.
Paul works for an educational charity and lived on Warwick Way for the past five years. Adam is a student at University College London and joint chair of London Liberal Youth. Rhoda has been a local activist for many years and lives locally on Ebury Bridge Road.
